A lot of these places have facilities that they may not be using all the time that we're we're hoping they might. This might trigger something that will contact us, and we come see if the space might work

Sacramento County says it needs help finding vote centers for the Nov. 3 election. By law, the county is required to provide 84 vote centers. Right now, they have 53 confirmed. Natomas, Elk Grove, Rancho Cordova and Folsom are where the county says it needs extra help."Now, in the midst of this COVID pandemic, a lot of the locations that we typically use are actually being used for other things that might be related to the COVID response like emergency day cares, COVID testing sites, so we're in a little bit of a pinch here as we come down to the wire," said county spokesperson Janna Haynes. Sacramento County said it's also willing to provide deep cleaning services after the election to any participating location. Gavin Newsom signed a bill to require county officials to mail a ballot to every registered voter for the November election amid the coronavirus outbreak. In-person voting places are remaining available for those who might need them.
