A homicide investigation is underway after a deadly shooting outside a home in North Sacramento, police said. A man was shot at around 2:57 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Danville Way, the Sacramento Police Department said. The man who was shot was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. The Sacramento County Coroner's Office will release his identity after his next of kin are contacted. As of late Saturday evening, police said they had not determined a motive for the shooting. No other information has been released. Stay with KCRA for the latest.
