LINCOLN, Neb. (KELO) — The evidence is piling up in Nebraska.

In less than 24 hours, the state patrol confiscated nearly 150-pounds of weed, along with thousands of THC vape pens and pods.

Traffic stops also led troopers to edibles and a pound of a potent cannabis known as “shatter.”

The string of arrests started just before noon on Wednesday when a trooper stopped a speeding car near the Nebraska-Colorado state line.

Inside, authorities found two trash bags containing 50 pounds of pot. Troopers made the stops in central and eastern Nebraska.

All together, they made eight arrests. Most of the suspects were from out of state.
