Several Shopko stores in South Dakota are closing their pharmacy departments. 

That includes at least the two in Sioux Falls and the one in Watertown. 

The last day you can get a prescription filled in Sioux Falls is next Tuesday, December 18. 

All customers currently at the eastern Sioux Falls Shopko will have their files transferred to the Hy-Vee at 26^th and Sycamore. All customers currently filling their prescriptions at the 41^st Street Shopko will have their files transferred to the Hy-Vee on Minnesota Avenue.

Just last week, Shopko announced it will start liquidating four South Dakota stores–Redfield, Wagner, Webster and Dell Rapids.  Those stores officially close at the end of February. 

A company spokesperson says it was not profitable to keep the locations open.
