A large police presence was spotted outside the Opera House Wetherspoons in Tunbridge Wells this morning (July 18).

Three police cars were pictured parked in Mount Pleasant Road at around 5am.

A grey Volkswagen Golf was also seen stationary across the pavement and the road with its rear bumper seemingly knocking a give way sign on Dudley Road out of place.

Residents had also complained of a "very noisy" helicopter circling over the town at around the same time this morning.
