Police have issued an urgent appeal for a missing man who is believed to be in the Sturry Road area of Canterbury.

Ryan Clout, who is 23, was last seen in the early hours of Monday (May 25).

Kent Police has now appealed for anyone with information about Ryan or where he might be to come forward.

He is reported to be wearing a grey hooded jumper, dark grey tracksuit bottoms and pink sandals.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "Information is sought to help locate a man who is missing and is believed to be in the Sturry Road area of Canterbury wearing pink sandals.

"Kent Police is conducting ongoing searches to locate Ryan Clout, who was reported missing from the Military Road area of the city at around 1.20am on Monday 25 May 2020.

"He is reported to be wearing a grey hooded jumper, dark grey tracksuit bottoms and pink sandals.

"Although a picture is not available, officers hope members of the public may be able to recognise him from his distinctive clothing.

"The 23-year-old is also described as being white and 5ft 8ins tall with a slim build and long, brown hair."

Members of the public are asked to be vigilant and to contact Kent Police on 101, quoting 25-0083, if they have any information.
