This is the moment a Rochester would-be terror attacker realises police have the video evidence of his allegiance pledge to ISIS.

With his head in his hands, the former postman seems embarrassed at his sickening rant, which you can watch in full below.

Lewis Ludlow, 27, had made plans for an attack in London's Oxford Street that could have killed up to 100 people.

Ludlow, who called himself "The Eagle" and "The Ghost", researched potential targets around the capital.

Counter terrorism police recovered torn up pieces of paper detailing how an attack could be carried out from outside home in Warren Wood Road as part of their investigation into Ludlow.

After pleading guilty to one count of engaging in preparation of a terrorist act and one count of arranging money for acts of terrorism last year, he was jailed for life at the Old Bailey yesterday (March 6).

'Disgusting debauchery'

He will serve a minimum term of 15 years for the attack plan, with seven years to run concurrently for funding.

A video has since been released showing Ludlow pledging allegiance to ISIS.

Appearing in a hood in the video and covering his mouth, Ludlow says: “This video is an introduction. I am the Eagle.  “I have grew up among you.

“I learned your culture, your ways of life and your disgusting debauchery.

“I reject all of this.

“There is nothing between us but animosity and hatred.”

'We too are waiting'

Appearing to read from a script and fumbling his words, he goes on to say: “Therefore I pledge allegiance to the Islamic State. We love death as much as you love life.

“So therefore, my allegiance is to...Islamic State. I have nothing for this country of Britain.

“I spit on your citizenship. Your passport. You can go to hell with that.

“So be ready because we too are waiting.

“Signed off, The Eagle.

“May Allah give victory to the Mujahideen.

"May He grant them victory and destroy your idols and make us establish the Shariah over your necks whether you like it or not and may we destroy all of what you hold dear.”

Ludlow, who was unaware that police had the video, was shown it during his interview, putting his head in his hands as it was played back to him.
