Southeastern transforms trains for Pride Canterbury

Commuters may have spotted their trains have undergone a rainbow makeover.

Those travelling with Southeastern this weekend will notice some have become a #trainbow.

The rail company are supporting Pride Canterbury, which takes place this weekend.

Canterbury East and Canterbury West will also be specially-decorated for the event this Saturday, June 15.

The #trainbow will be bringing passengers to Pride Canterbury and Folkestone Pride (Saturday, July 20) and Margate Pride (Saturday, August 10).

Scott Maynard, human resources director at Southeastern, said: "We’re proud to be supporting Pride Canterbury and it is a cause that our colleagues care deeply about.

"We are committed to equality and inclusion, particularly among those who identify as LGBT+ and are thankful to LGBT+ sOUTheastern who are driving us forward, and helping us to do all that we can to create a working environment that is inclusive for all.

"We wish everyone attending Saturday’s Pride event in Canterbury a very happy day."
