Two men walk into Canterbury petrol station on the A2 and make off with cash

Two men have walked into a staff-only area of a petrol station and made off with a quantity of cash.

The incident happened at the BP garage on the A2 at Upper Harbledown at 5.15pm on Sunday, February 3.

Detectives have now released a CCTV image of a man they would like to trace.

Officers arrested another man on Monday, February 18.

Nicholas Weatherall, 44, of Merton Lane, Canterbury, was charged with two counts of burglary and one count of attempted burglary.

He was remanded in custody by Medway magistrates and will next appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, March 25.
