Lewis Ludlow from Rochester to be sentenced for terrorist plot outside Oxford Street store

A man who swore his allegiance to the Islamic State and plotted to kill hundreds of people outside a Disney store will be sentenced today.

Lewis Ludlow was arrested last April after police searched his home in Warren Wood Road in Rochester.

The 26-year-old planned to hire a van and run down pedestrians on Oxford Street.

A letter was found ripped up in a bin which contained his intentions.

Ludlow had pledged his allegiance to Islamic State in March.

He had been charged with two counts of engaging in conduct in preparation for acts of terrorism.
