Korean War veteran has no known surviving family members

A Lincoln funeral home urges the community to honor the service of a fallen Korean War veteran.Dale Wayne Quick, 91, passed away June 10.He served in the Army from 1947-1955.According to Roper and Sons funeral home, Quick has no known surviving family members. He lived at Lancaster Rehabilitation Center for the last 17 years.Roper and Sons appeals to other veterans and the community to attend the hero's funeral Monday morning.The service starts at 10 a.m. at Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel located at 3950 Hohensee Drive.Quick will then be laid to rest with full military honors at Fairview Cemetery.
