Omaha police officers investigating two early morning shootings
Omaha police are investigating two shootings that happened early Sunday morning.
According to police, officers are looking for a suspect in a shooting near 28th and Bauman avenues. OPD said the shooting happened around 2:00 a.m. Sunday.
When officers arrived at the scene, a man was found and taken to a hospital to treat his injuries.
Thirty minutes later, police were called to 29th and Ellison streets for a shooting. There they spotted a car driving recklessly. Police said the car crashed into a power line.
Three suspects got out of the vehicle and tried to run, but police say they caught up with them around 31st and Redick streets.
Investigators there said they recovered 4 guns.
Officers report 10 minutes after the shooting at 29th and Ellison 42-year-old Tarvoris Harper walked into the hospital.
