Phoenix, Arizona police posted a harrowing video Wednesday showing the very close call for a couple pushing a child in a stroller across a busy street.
The video shows at 53rd Ave and Indian School Road in Phoenix. As they cross with the walk light in their favor, a car is seen running a red light and speeding straight at them.
They had no time to react.
But seconds before tragedy, the speeding car struck a Chevy Cruz as it entered the intersection. The crash stopped the speeding vehicle, and likely saved the couple and the child in the stroller.
In a tweet Wednesday, police described the Chevy Cruz as an "angel" who may have saved lives.
Phoenix police said the innocent driver will be OK. The red-light runner was arrested for DUI.
