ALEXANDRA: IN OMAHA, ALEXANDRA STONE, KETV NEWSWATCH 7. ROB: A RANDOM SHOOTING INTO A GROUP OF CARS SENDS DRIVERS SPEEDING AWAY, AND POLICE SEARCHING FOR A GUNMAN. ONLY KETV CRIME STOPPERS HAS THE VIDEO OF WHAT HAPPENED. LATE SATURDAY NIGHT, MAY NINTH. THE GUNMAN IS WALKING UP AN ALLEY JUST NORTH OF MIAMI STREET, ALONG FLORENCE BOULEVARD. FOR SOME REASON, HE PULLS OUT A GUN, AND OPENS FIRE AT NEARBY CARS. HE THEN TAKES OFF RUNNING. SECONDS LATER, THE CARS GO THEIR DIFFERENT WAYS. TAKE ANOTHER LOOK. LUCKILY THE GUY DIDN’T HIT ANYBODY, JUST THE CARS, EVEN THOUGH THERE WERE PEOPLE SITTING IN THEM. NO WORD ON WHY THE GUY STARTED SHOOTING, OR IF IT WAS JUST A RANDOM ATTACK. WITNESSES DESCRIBE HIM AS BLACK, SEVENTEEN TO 25-YEARS-OLD, WITH A SHORT AFRO. HE WAS WEARING A DARK HOODIE, WHITE GLOVES, AND A

Omaha police are looking for the guy who shot into a group of cars.It happened late Saturday night, May 9th.Surveillance video of an alley just north of Miami Street and Florence Boulevard showed the gunman walking up toward the cars, pulling out a handgun and firing.Luckily, nobody was hit but a couple of the cars were damaged.Witnesses described the gunman as black, 17-to-25 years old with a short afro.He was wearing a dark hoodie, white gloves and a surgical mask.Anyone with information is asked to contact Omaha Crime Stoppers:(402) 444-STOP (7867)www.omahacrimestoppers.org“P3 Tips” Mobile AppAll tipsters stay anonymous but could still get a cash reward.
