Victim flags down police after being shot near 50th and Bedford Friday night

Officers in the area of 45th and Wirt Streets said they heard several gunshots around 10:15 p.m.
Police said moments later, a green Ford Taurus flagged the officers down. The driver, 19-year-old Roderick Hurst, told officers that he had been shot.
Omaha Fire Department medics arrived on scene and took Hurst to the Nebraska Medicine to be treated.
Police said officers determined that occupants in a silver vehicle shot at the vehicle that Hurst was in.
The investigation is ongoing.
