The Kansas Highway Patrol said a trooper and another man had minor injuries in a crash early Saturday morning.
The KHP said an SUV was going east on Kellogg when it struck a patrol vehicle that was parked on the outside shoulder with its emergency lights activated. The trooper was seated inside his vehicle when it was hit. The driver of the SUV, a 41-year-old Wichita man, and the trooper, a 22-year-old man from Colwich, had minor injuries.
The crash was reported around 12:15 a.m. Traffic was down to one lane on eastbound Kellogg after the crash.
