Since Bismarck Police Department reinstated the Neighborhood Crime Watch Program, they've patrolled around the city sharing information about the program with citizens.

Officers spent the afternoon outside Bismarck Municipal Ball Park giving stickers to children while teaching parents about crime prevention. Sergeant John Brocker says it's a great way to reconnect with the community.

We need to reconnect with the community and we're trying to do that and get the community to reconnect with itself inside the neighborhoods," said Sergeant John Brocker, Bismarck Police Department.

Sergeant Brocker says this is only the beginning of many new programs that are in development for the community.
