5:45 p.m. But before the power was restored to hundreds in the community, linemen had to bear the weather to fix it.

Six linemen were out this morning fixing the conductor.

The linemen say they needed that many hands in order to switch out when someone got too cold going up in the bucket truck.

"Well everything goes a lot better when you got a couple buckets in the air than trying to get a couple of guys moving around on the poles," said MDU Lead Line Crew Foreman Wyatt Hanson.

MDU Line Tech Jason Melchior said: "Linemen know when they got out what to kind of expect temperature wise. So, they prepare for it."

They say they're hoping for warmer days but until then they're piling on the layers to be able to do their jobs effectively.

Power has been restored to all customers as of 7:45 a.m.

7:12 a.m. Crews have been sent to a line down near Interstate Ave to repair a broken conductor.

An MDU spokesperson says an estimated 350 customers have been without power this morning and an additional 700 could be added to the list.

The spokesperson says due to the weather repairs will require extra work to remove snow.

He estimates power to be restored by 8:30 this morning.

Several power outages have been reported around the downtown and North Bismarck area.

Montana-Dakota utilities stated on their website they have several hundred customers from South of I-94 to East N Washington St. and West of State St. without power.

They are unsure when they will have the power back up.
