Bismarck police arrest man accused of making threats to officers after a traffic stop on Sunday.

Thirty-year-old John Morsette is accused of getting upset with a Bismarck officer after receiving a citation for not having a visible front license plate.

The affidavit says Morsette followed the officer after the stop through multiple blocks and called dispatch to say the cop was harassing him.

Morsette is accused of asking dispatch where the officer lived and threatened to hurt him.

Documents say police believed Morsette was capable of harming officers and killing them based off his demeanor.

Morsette also told the dispatcher that they worked for him and cursed at them. BPD arrested him after Morsette is accused of disregarding the emergency lights and driving home.

He’s charged with terrorizing, harassment of emergency personnel and fleeing a peace officer.
