Bismarck men threaten victims with a machete and pipe

Two men from Bismarck are accused of breaking into a home and vandalizing it before threatening victims.

The affidavit says 20-year-old Spencer Bachmeier and 29-year-old Josef Falkenstein are accused of breaking into a Bismarck home on March 19.

Court documents say both men are accused of breaking windows, damaging drywall with knives and stabbing the refrigerator.

The property owner tells the Bismarck Police Department there was more than $2,000 in damages.

Police say after the vandalism happened the property owner and building manager found Falkenstein’s car and parked near him.

Falkenstein is accused of getting out of the car with a machete in a “threatening manner.

Bachmeier is accused of exiting the home where the car was parked with a bent piece of pipe and throwing it at the building manager.

Both men are charged with terrorizing and criminal mischief. A judge set Falkenstein’s bond at $10,000 in cash. Bachmeier’s bond is set at $5,000 in cash.
