Bismarck mom creates family fun day

During the winter months, it can be difficult to find activities for the whole family. One Bismarck mom wanted to change that. Michelle Kaufman, a mother of two, says she wanted to keep her children moving and decided to create an event for the whole community.

Kids played on bounce houses and created bath bombs. A parents room allowed people to make new friends. She says family and friends already have new ideas for next year.

It's always kind of hard to know the first time out how things are going to fit. We'll definitely have more inflatables next time, we have lots more ideas for more games and things," said Michelle Kaufman, Organizer.

Kaufman says she has already had parents volunteer for the next family day event.
