Bismarck City Planner Will Hutchings says Costco Wholesale has submitted building plans along with site plans, and are under review by City staff. Your News Leader reported last month that site plans were submitted June 26.

He says Costco has submitted updated documents based on the City’s initial comments.

The City of Bismarck will hold a public hearing for land annexation on Aug. 27 for the 23-acre tract of land that is undeveloped in North Bismarck.

A development agreement will also be on the Board of City Commissioners agenda on Aug. 27.

In site plans, the store plans to open in late summer of 2020. This would be Costco’s second location in North Dakota, with the other in Fargo.
