In this week's Dan's Garden, Dan Cashman takes us to a hidden gem in Bismarck.

"Well we have a fun traveling garden today. I’m in Bismarck at the rotary clubs arboretum, which is also helped by the Bismarck Parks and Rec. It’s on Ward Road off of Divide Avenue in the northwest corner basically off Tom O’ Leary golf course. So, an arboretum is the scientific study and collection of trees and shrubs and they got them here. Lots of different types of trees and bushes. They have wetlands water runs through here from the streets up north of here; it’s up hill and there’s moose that come, deer. It’s a great sanctuary it’s a hidden gem in Bismarck. It’s a great place to go for a walk or have lunch. Students come here to collect leaves for biology and different science projects. If you haven’t been here you should check it out because not many people know about this place. We first planted trees about 25 years ago and planted more just now it’s just a great place to go. So come to the arboretum in Bismarck and until next week good gardening."
