A judge sentenced a Bismarck man Friday after he pleaded guilty to sexual assaulting a teenager and preventing arrest.

Court documents say 35-year-old Merle Marrowbone touched the 17-year-old victim inappropriately in March.

Bismarck police says the victims guardian knew the man. The affidavits says Marrowbone entered the home and touched the teen, when police arrived to the home in Bismarck he was found in the bathroom with a kitchen knife.

Court records say Marrowbone received two years of supervised probation, and got credit for 77 days he served. A judge ordered Marrowbone to receive sex offender treatment.
