A 31-year-old Minot man was killed and a 22-year-old man from Minot was hurt Sunday morning in a crash just north of Cheyenne.

According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, Christopher Chargois was headed north on U.S. 85 in a Hyundai Santa Fe around 4:30 a.m., when the vehicle left the roadway on the left side.

The patrol says Chargois steered to the right but the vehicle overturned. He died from his injuries in the crash.

His passenger, Brian Poitra, was taken to a hospital in Cheyenne for his injuries.

Neither man was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Driver fatigue is being investigated as a possible factor.
