Bismarck Surgical Associates Center opens in new location

Bismarck Surgical Associates has relocated into a new, more accommodating facility.

Construction at this new north Bismarck surgical center finished in August of 2019.

Now, doors are open to the public.

"We outgrew our space down on North 9th Street. We had three ORs just a lot of tight corners. And we just needed a spot to be able to grow. So, we have this five OR center now," said Business Manager Todd Neiss.

The new center is the first part of a medical park called Daybreak to be complete.

The new facility building is over 17,000 square feet larger than the old Surgical Associates location.

"It's a state of the art facility. One of the biggest complaints at our old facility was our waiting room. There's no complaints about the waiting room now," said Neiss.

Neiss says the space is more comfortable for patients and offers more privacy with rooms for pre- and post-operation patients.

Neiss says the bigger surgical rooms will allow for more equipment and new procedures in the future.

The center is located at 106 East Greenfield Lane.
