Bismarck residents have a new hotspot to look forward to.

Locals will soon be able to grab a beer and a slice of pizza at a brand new restaurant and bar.

Randall Rhone, with Developers LLC, is bringing a taste of Chicago to the area.

Rhone plans to turn the piece of land on Trenton Drive across from the Exxon Gas Station in Northeast Bismarck into an 11,000 square foot strip mall featuring a 5,000 square foot Old Chicago restaurant.

Rhone says he feels the area is in dire need of a sit down restaurant. He says his goal is to service everyone in Northeast Bismarck. So, when the opportunity came, he says he grabbed it.

Now that the demolition phase is complete, Rhone's working with architects and engineers.

He plans to begin construction on the Old Chicago Center and Restaurant within a month and a half.

Rhone says he'll hire up to 70 employees at the new restaurant. He plans to be open for business by the first quarter of 2020.
