UPDATE: Bismarck Police arrested William Henriquez Monday afternoon. He's is being held at the Burleigh Morton Detention Center.

ORIGINAL STORY: Bismarck Police are looking for a man accused of crashing into a cop car near Tom O’Leary Golf Course and running from them.

The affidavit says officers are looking for 21-year-old William Henriquez. He's charged with aggravated assault with an attempt to inflict serious bodily injury, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer, reckless endangerment, and driving under suspension.

Documents show an officer recognized a stolen car while on patrol on May 30 in the morning.

Police tried to stop the car but Henriquez is accused of crashing into the front bumper of the squad car and going more than 60 miles per hour on east Ave. C in Bismarck.

Another officer later found the car, but no one was in it. Police found two women and one man matching the description of the people inside the car. Henriquez ran from the officer when he saw his patrol car coming toward them.

Police don't know where the man is. He's currently under parole and probation but his probation officer says he hasn't been staying at his registered address.
