Possible mountain lion sighting in NE Bismarck

There has been a possible mountain lion sighting in northeast Bismarck.

Bismarck police responded to a call this afternoon from a man who said he saw what he believed to be a mountain lion just off of East Calgary Avenue near Johnny Gisi Memorial Park. He told police the animal was in a coulee.

Police and crews from Game and Fish searched the area, but didn't find anything.

Residents are encouraged to be aware of their surroundings, but police say there is no immediate danger.
