SMSgt. Chris Edgerton awarded the Bronze Star Medal

Earlier today at Minot Air Force Base, Senior Master Sergeant Chris Edgerton was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his meritorious achievement while deployed to Afghanistan.
He led the largest Afghan Security Forces Squadron in combat support operations. Edgerton trained, advised and assisted the host nation partners which led to securing a large battle space which protected 10 thousand personnel and 71 combat aircraft.
He also built the first Afghan Security Forces "Train the Trainer" course, which provided vital self-sustaining training operations.
