Forbes partnered with Statista to see which states have the best employers.
While Arizona has several big companies that employ hundred, even thousands of people, there are two employers from Tucson that made the list. The list is a first of its kind that is divided into 51 lists: one for each of the 50 states, plus the District of Columbia.
The University of Arizona came in 11th on the list and the City of Tucson ranked 59th in the state.
U of A also made another Forbes list for "America's Best Employers," coming in 83rd.
