Portland's Hottest Hoods: Median Sale Price Q2 2019

PORTLAND, Ore. — Today's installment of Hottest 'Hoods could also be known as priciest precincts.

After ranking Portland-area neighborhoods according to sales volume and days on the market, today's slideshow looks at the places in the metropolitan area with highest median sale prices in second quarter of 2019.

More than half of the ZIP codes on the list of 25 places with at least 30 sales were in Portland, but suburban locations such as Lake Oswego and Happy Valley were in the mix, too. Some Washington locations also made the cut.

New to the list are Kerns/Laurelhurst, La Center and Brush Prairie. Falling off the list are Tigard/King City, Vancouver and Clackamas.

The median sale price for all of the listed neighborhoods increased from the last quarter by 4.9 percent, from $412,701 to $432,919.
