Church's Chicken still expected to come to Cheyenne

Since the Church's Chicken sign was taken down, many people have been wondering if the restaurant is still coming to Cheyenne.

It's Wyoming and we have a lot of wind. The sign had been blown over enough times that city council member, Bryan Cook, said they decided to stop putting it back up. Bryan Cook also said, "This was one of the longer processes they've had to endure. But they've obviously chosen to stick it out here in Cheyenne. They want to, they want to build a restaurant here."

Several departments within the city have been working together to help complete the process. The city says that the permits needed have been issued and construction can now begin at the site.

According to the city, Church's Chicken is expected to break ground soon.
