In our bi-weekly series with the Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne, the Director of Development Wendy Fanning stopped by to talk about the Chili Challenge.

The 11th annual Chili Challenge takes place on January 25 at Little America Hotel and Resort from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Tickets are just $20 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 to 11. Tickets are on sale now at the club or you can purchase them at the door.

The Chili Challenge is a family oriented event so there are fun activities planned for all ages. There will, of course, be plenty of chili, beer, soda and treats. The club will be offering the fast-past glasses for adults for $10.00 allowing you to bypass the long lines. There will also be a silent auction and entertainment. This year Wyoming performer and singer/songwriter Todd Dereemer will light up the stage. Kids can get a balloon animal provided by Alpacaglobo Balloons and a photo booth for all to enjoy.

Teams slots are still available for $100 you can compete. This year's theme is "Super Heroes" teams will not only compete for best-tasting chili but also the best decorated booth, but the real prize goes to the team that raised the most money for the Boys & Girls Club. Those participating get the chance to vote for their favorite chili by a cash donation to that team.

To sign up call Wendy Fanning with the Boys & Girls Club at 307-778-6674.
