A heads up if you plan to get a Christmas tree, supply at some lots is already starting to thin out.
We stopped by Richard Tajiri’s Christmas tree lot on University Avenue Monday.
Assistant manager Russell Lee says they have about 300 trees left, and he expects to sell out before the week’s end.
“It does seem like it’s a bit quicker than normal. We had quite a bit of long lines in the beginning,” Lee said. “We try to bring around the same amount of trees every year. We try to get a little more if we can, but we try to sell them all and we usually do, thank goodness.”
Of course, Tajiri isn’t the only one selling trees.
Habilitat, Don Quijote, Helemano Farms, and Home Depot are just some of the many retailers also selling trees this year.
