Some people in Grand Junction have raised concerns, after Health officials confirm one case of lung-illness in the state of Colorado, was caused by vaping.

Mesa County Public Health says vaping is one of the second most tried substance in Grand Junction.

It is not clear what part of Colorado the vaping incident happened. However, Grand Junction and officials are concerned about students in the area.

"So we do know that vaping is an issue in our community and it's something that public health is very concerned with. We know that about half of our high school students have tried vaping, and about a third have done it within the past 30 days,” says Mesa County Public Health Amanda Mayle.

Officials say symptoms to look for with lung disease includes things like, shortness of breath, chest pains, coughing, low oxygen levels, and fatigue.
