Police search for suspected shooter in southern Colorado

One man was in the hospital Friday night following a shooting in Pueblo.

Police said it was reported at 10 p.m. near W. Northern and E. Abriendo Avenue.

When they arrived on scene, officers said they found a man who had been shot. The victim was taken to a local hospital.

After investigating, police said that an argument broke out between two drivers and shots were fired.

The victim told officers that he was a passenger in a silver car, possibly a Hyundai, when the shooting took place. He said that he got out of the vehicle, and the driver left the scene.

The other driver is being named the suspect and could be driving a light-colored Jaguar sedan or a Buick.

No word yet on how serious the victims injuries are. The investigation is ongoing.
