Crews were called to a crash involving a gas line in downtown Colorado Springs Saturday night.

The crash was reported at about 7:15 p.m. at an apartment complex near E. Platte Avenue and Tejon. As of 7:45 p.m. it was still an active scene, police were called to the area for traffic control to keep the public away from the leak.

It isn't clear how bad the damage is. Last time this article was updated, there were no serious injuries reported or details on what may have led up to the crash.

At about 8:15 p.m. the scene was mostly clear with utility crews working on the leak. 11 News has a request into Colorado Springs Utilities for more information and will update this article when they get back to us.
