WANTED: Alleged purse snatcher in Colorado Springs

Police are searching for a man suspected of snatching a woman's purse in broad daylight in Colorado Springs.

Police confirmed with 11 News the man pictured at the top of this article is considered a suspect in the case. The victim, a single mother, was robbed as she was taking her kids into their daycare. Another parent reportedly saw the crime and immediately snapped a photo of the suspect.

The crime happened on Friday morning near N. Nevada and Uintah. The windows of her car were halfway down when she went to the opposite side of her car to get her daughter out of the vehicle. She says that's when the suspect came up to the window.

He reportedly grabbed her purse and then just took off running.

The victim says her stolen credit cards were used at a local Walmart. However, she canceled her cards and they were rejected.
