WANTED: Statewide search in Colorado underway for hit-and-run suspect

A statewide search was underway Wednesday night in Colorado for a hit-and-run suspect who seriously injured a pedestrian.
Police in Denver are asking the public to be on the lookout for a black GMC Yukon with Colorado plate 039-ZJC. The alert was sent out just after 9 p.m. The vehicle has dark-tinted windows and stickers on the back window.
Sister station KCNC is reporting the person hit was a man crossing the street. No other details no the victim's condition were provided.
If you spot the vehicle you are asked to call 911.
The crash happened in Denver Wednesday night at 22nd Street and Curtis Street.
