Authorities are asking for the public's help finding whoever is responsible for spray painting a swastika on a Lincoln bike trail.

The Lincoln Police Department was notified just after 9 p.m. Thursday by a runner who saw the swastika on a trail near 17th and Holdrege St.
Police say they believe the symbol was painted some time in the last week.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or Crimestoppers at 402-475-3600.
There were also approximately 20 trees spray painted with numerous images some to include swastikas at the Epworth Park near 1st and South Streets.
