Police respond to shooting in northeast Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A person was shot at a home on Ervin Street, near 56th and Fremont, in northeast Lincoln.

Police said the victim was rushed to a local hospital, where the condition of the person is unknown.

Authorities were dispatched to Ervin Street just after 6:45 p.m. Thursday evening. Police said they believe there is no threat to the public.

Lincoln police and fire assisted in this incident, medical as well.

No arrests have been made in the shooting at this time, police are interviewing witnesses to find out more information.
