Storm warnings issued for East Texas counties

EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - 1:58 a.m. - A tornado watch has been issued for the following counties through 10 a.m.: Anderson; Bowie; Camp; Cass; Cherokee; Franklin; Gregg; Harrison; Henderson; Hopkins; Houston; Kaufman; Marion; Morris; Nacogdoches; Navarro; Panola; Rains; Rusk; Shelby; Smith; Titus; Upshur; Van Zandt; Wood.

11:46 p.m. - A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Hopkins County and Titus County through 12:15 a.m.

11: 30 p.m. - A severe thunderstorm warning for northwestern Van Zandt County will expire at 11: 30 p.m. The National Weather Service says the severe weather has moved out of the area.

11:26 p.m. - Severe thunderstorm watches issued for Franklin; Smith; Wood counties through 12:15 p.m.

11:15 p.m. - A tornado warning is in effect for north central Van Zandt County and central Rains County through 11:45 p.m.

8:01 PM - Tornado Warning issued for Panola County until 8:45 p.m.

7:56 PM - Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for Panola, Harrison Counties until 8:45 p.m.

7:13 PM - Tornado Warning issued for Panola, Rusk Counties until 8 p.m. As of 7:40 pm, the warning for Rusk County has been allowed to expire. Panola County remains under a Tornado Warning.

6:58 PM - A Tornado Watch has been issued for several East Texas counties until 2 a.m. The watch includes Camp, Cass, Franklin, Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Morris, Panola, Rusk, Smith, Titus, Upshur, Wood, Van Zandt, Henderson, Hopkins, and Rain Counties.

6:48 PM - Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for Panola, Rusk Counties until 7:30 p.m.

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for several East Texas counties.

According to the National Weather Service, a severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for Smith, Rusk, and Cherokee Counties until 7 p.m.
