Melissa Whiteside can't stop smiling when she shows off pictures of her little boy.For this Wichita, Kansas family, the Chiefs victory on Sunday holds a special meaning. The family is celebrating two wins, a chance at the Super Bowl and the birth a baby boy. Toby and Melissa had plans to watch the AFC Championship, but when she had to undergo an emergency C-section, the game plan changed. Toby still watched the game as he waited patiently. "While I was in the room waiting to hear word, I had the game on,” Toby Whiteside said. “I would watch the game for a few seconds, I would walk to the door, walk back."Little Xavier showed up a little early to the game – about 13 weeks early – weighing just under two pounds."I kept pacing, watching the game, pacing to the door, too nervous to do both,” Toby Whiteside said.Even though he's small, he's already showing big team spirit – complete with a Chiefs patch to cuddle with in his incubator. His parents say he has a long way to go, but the family is already celebrating. They were able to hold Xavier for the very first time. "Scary because he's so itty bitty, and so they do skin to skin so he can feel your heartbeat and stuff,” Melissa Whiteside said.Next for Xavier? Cheering on the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, something dad hopes will become a tradition. “It's going to be the first one I get to watch with him, so it's going to hold special meaning for the rest of my life,” Toby Whiteside said.

Toby and Melissa had plans to watch the AFC Championship, but when she had to undergo an emergency C-section, the game plan changed. Toby still watched the game as he waited patiently.

Little Xavier showed up a little early to the game – about 13 weeks early – weighing just under two pounds.

"I kept pacing, watching the game, pacing to the door, too nervous to do both,” Toby Whiteside said.

Even though he's small, he's already showing big team spirit – complete with a Chiefs patch to cuddle with in his incubator.
