Kansas City, Missouri police said two people are dead after a shooting Monday morning.
Police were called to an apartment building in the 9900 block of Walnut at 1:30 a.m.
Police found a man dead inside the building. He has been identified as 21-year-old Victor Garrett.
They also found a woman inside who was shot. Medics took her to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said someone drove a third person to the hospital. Doctors declared that man dead when he arrived. He has been identified as 25-year-old Tevin Grimmett.
Witnesses said an argument led to a man firing shots at the victims.
Police are searching for that suspect right now. Investigators have identified a person of interest in this case, but so far, no arrests have been made.
