Entergy Louisiana customers to get refunds on electricity bills

The Public Service Commission approved on Thursday a $2.2 million refund they say is owed to Louisiana Entergy customers.
They say it's the result of an audit of the Fuel Adjustment Charge for a three year period which occurred 2010-2013.
Officials say customers should get a refund of a few dollars over a period of several months due to the number of customers who will get a refund.
PSC Commissioner Foster Campbell called for an investigation into apparent overspending by the Southwest Power Pool located in Little Rock. SPP manages the grid system by which southern states received extra electricity. Expenses of SPP are passed on to all electric customers in those states.
A previous third-party release sent to KNOE said the amount to be refunded was $68 million. Entergy says the amount is $2.2 million. We apologize for the confusion.
