'The Bachelorette': Jed Wyatt says he's 'falling in love' with Hannah Brown

Jed Wyatt has been falling harder and faster by the week for "Bachelorette" Hannah Brown and confessed that he's "falling in love" with her on Monday night's episode.

Now, he might just be falling.

The East Tennessee native made national headlines last week after a fellow Nashville musician alleged the two were in a relationship right before he became a contestant – and spent the night together before he shipped out to join the reality show.

The musician, Haley Stevens, told People that Wyatt had insisted he was only interested in starring on the show to shine a spotlight on his music and that he looked to make it no further than the top five contestants.

Earlier in the season in a twist, Wyatt, 25, came clean with Brown and owned up to the fact that he originally looked at the show as an opportunity to give him a wider platform for his music career.

But he immediately added that his outlook had changed throughout their dates as he developed genuine feelings for her.

The 24-year-old reality damsel seemed to respect and appreciate his bold honesty.

On Monday night, Wyatt continued that bold approach in Riga, Latvia, playing the piano for Brown and sneaking out of the men's hotel to steal more time with the bachelorette.

“It’s hard to put into words but I just know that I’m going to do whatever I can,” to spend time with Brown, Wyatt said.

With guitar in hand, the Nashville singer and songwriter pulled the classic "serenade a woman outside her bedroom window" move and crooned a throwback – the song he initially sang at the Mr. Right competition earlier in the season.

"I'll be your Mr. Right, girl," he sang to Brown as she beamed down at him from her balcony.

“If that’s not out of a romance novel, I don’t know what is,” Brown said.

She proceeded to invite Wyatt up to her room, where he continued to serenade her on camera.

“I want to pull you close," he sang to her as she leaned into him. "Whisper in your ear. Tell you I want you. Right here.”

But he told her more than that after the two cozied up in her bed.

“I really am falling in love with you,” Wyatt whispered to Brown, adding, “I’m thankful for you.”

'I'll never tell a lie'

Monday night's episode was punctuated by its fair share of drama as confrontations between the contestants – with notorious contender Luke Parker, of Georgia, at the center – continued from past episodes.

Part of the drama unraveled following a one-on-one date between Brown and Garrett Powell, who bungee jumped together naked in line with a Latvian tradition.

Their intimate adventure upset Parker, who confronted Brown about her decision to shed all layers with another man.

“I felt like it was a slap in the face, but no matter what you do I’m going to support you even if you make a bonehead mistake,” Parker, who's jump-started much of the season's drama, told her.

The conversation prompted a more heated exchange in which Brown raised concerns about his frustrations.

Brown skipped the tradition of holding a cocktail party before the rose ceremony, with host Chris Harrison declaring she knew exactly what decisions she wanted to make.

Wyatt received the first rose at the ceremony.

Parker received the last, ensuring the drama of the season isn't over.

The contestants jet off to the Netherlands next week, according to a sneak peek of what's ahead with hometown dates coming soon after.

Wyatt is safe for now.

But a few of the lyrics he sang to Brown in the night could be telling.

"I'll never tell a lie," he sang to her, later belting out, “you never know when it might be over.”
