School districts delay or cancel school because of snowy weather

East Tennessee school districts have announced they are delaying Wednesday's start or canceling school altogether because of snowy weather.

Anderson County Schools: Closed on Wednesday 

Blount County Schools: Two-hour delay on Wednesday 

Clinton City Schools: Closed on Wednesday 

Roane County Schools: Closed on Wednesday 

Scott County Schools: Two-hour delay on Wednesday

Sevier County Schools: Two-hour delay on Wednesday

Tuesday's weather

Knoxville could see up to a tenth of an inch to half an inch of accumulation. Northeast Tennessee and the mountains could see 1-2 inches. 

Any remaining snow that falls overnight will likely melt on Wednesday, with a forecast of temperatures in the low 40s with sunshine.
