Oklahoma City police are investigating a homicide after they said a man was shot and killed when he tried to break into a business early Thursday morning.According to police, officers responded just after 1 a.m. to a shooting at a business near Southeast 22nd Street and Eastern Avenue. A man, later identified as 42-year-old Daniel Hardwick, was trying to break into the business when he was shot by the business owner, police said.Police later learned that the business owner was operating a marijuana grow without proper license. Investigators confiscated 480 plants worth about $1,500,000. The business owner was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on a complaint of unlawful cultivation of marijuana.
