PORTLAND, Ore (KOIN) — The Oregon Construction Contractors Board did a Portland-area sweep that revealed 15 instances of contractors working without a license among other violations.

The CCB found 15 compensation-related violations, 10 lead-based paint violations and various others. They discovered a total of 56 violations altogether.

Nearly everyone who is building a home or altering a structure is required by law to be licensed by the CCB.

Contractors and consumers can report unlicensed contractor activity by sending an email to ccbtips@state.or.us or by visiting the CCB website.
